Job Duties: Caring for children aged 3 months to 10 years in a day nursery; this involves feeding, personal care and play activities. Friendly and outgoing personality and a love of singing/ dancing and arts and crafts are an advantage. Qualifications / Experience: Essential: Any of the following NVQ Level 2, NNEB, BTEC, RSCN or equivalent in a Childcare related qualification and a minimum of 1 year's experience working with children in a Nursery setting. ****LETS GET SOCIAL****** There finally seems to be some light at the end of the lockdown tunnel as more and more businesses start to open over the next few weeks. We know there will be many children who will have spent lots of time with mum and dad at home during lockdown and have missed the opportunity to meet and interact with other children their own age. We are delighted to launch our new shorter "Social Sessions" at Kindergarten Kids which we hope will gently introduce these children to time away from Mum and Dad and give them the chance to enjoy all the benefits our nursery can offer. Our staff team are experts in helping kids settle in to the nursery environment and encourage them to make friends and enjoy our group activities. The sessions are in the afternoons from 2.30-5.30 and are available in our baby, toddler and pre-school rooms. Awesome after school fun with the A- Listers at Kindergarten Kids

***Check out our Spring craft Displays**** We love arts and crafts at Kindergarten Kids. This month we have been doing lots of craft based around the topic of Spring and all things creepy and crawly and buzzy. We then use the craft to decorate the rooms with awesome displays so the children can admire their handiwork. Well done everyone on some great work.

****5 STAR INSPECTION REPORT***** We want to say a massive congratulations to our amazing staff and management team for the incredible feedback we received from our big Social Services inspection today. The inspectors were highly impressed with our new premises but left their highest praise for our " very friendly and knowledgeable" staff. The girls have worked so hard over the past couple of weeks getting the playrooms looking their best and if you check out the pics im sure you will agree. Well done everyone! **WISHING EVERYONE A SAFE EASTER *** Its been a whirlwind 2 weeks for all the kids, staff and parents since we opened our new premises. We are so pleased with how well everyone has settled in and got used to their new surroundings. Everyone especially loves their daily walks in Londonderry Park. All the rooms have been super busy doing lots of Easter themed craft this week. Check out some of the fine works of art going home along with the treats from the Easter bunny. Everyone definitely deserves a nice rest after all that hard work so please remember we are closed on Monday and Tuesday for the Easter holidays. We hope everyone has a safe and happy break.

Big day today for all the children as we finally got to welcome them to our new premises. Everyone settled into the new surroundings very well and loved the new playrooms. Our baby room especially loved watching the world go by from their window. All the rooms got to have a nice walk round Lononderry Park as well. As a special treat to celebrate our first day after our big move we got these lovely cupcakes for all the staff, children and the parents to enjoy. Big thanks to Dream Cakes NI for supplying them. Hope everyone enjoyed their cupcakes. We would love to hear what the children thought of their new playrooms.
